To realize its mission to grow the size and diversity of Canada’s knowledge-based workforce, Quantius Education Foundation launched and sponsored several diversity and experiential learning initiatives focused on STEEM (Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Math)

 

inspireher

InspireHer is the flagship project founded by Quantius Education Foundation. We directly connect secondary students with women and minority industry leaders through speaker’s panels, networking and mentorship opportunities to gain understanding about career opportunities in Canadian knowledge-based industries., the innovation ecosystem, and be inspired to pursue a career in STEEM.

Bringing together industry leaders, scientists and innovators to motivate youth of diverse backgrounds in pursuing post-secondary education and career in STEEM.

Inspireher fellowhip & Scholarship

This is a one-year program that aims to empower BIPOC youth pursuing education and career in STEM. The Fellowship creates opportunities for mentorship from diverse industry leaders, experiential learning and career development opportunities to help students gain skills in leadership and exposure to STEEM-related careers, in addition to providing up to $10K per year in scholarship to deserving students

Economic Impact Study

In partnership with Western University, the Foundation is launching a longitudinal impact study focusing on quantifying the long-term economic impact of diversity programs and best-practices in knowledge-based sector, including research on the economic impact of technology and how it affects on the gender wage gap, career progression, as well as skills requirement and qualifications for the next generation’s knowledge-based workforce.

Robotics sponsorship

Enabling Canada’s next generation leaders in technology, by sponsoring the FIRST High School Robotics competition.
