Our Mission

We aim to grow the size and diversity of Canada’s knowledge-based workforce through education and empowerment of traditionally under-represented groups, including women, new Canadians, visible minorities, LGBTQ+, and Indigenous people.

The Need for Quantius Education Foundation

Research has consistently established that companies with higher-than-average gender diversity and employee engagement experience better financial performance and shareholder value. Canadian careers based on STEEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics) are currently outgrowing the workforce.

Our Programs

To realize its mission to grow the size and diversity of Canada’s knowledge-based workforce, Quantius Education Foundation launched and sponsored several diversity and experiential learning initiatives focused on secondary school students and industry leaders in STEEM.

inspireher education program

InspireHer is the flagship project founded by Quantius Education Foundation where we connect secondary students with women and minority industry leaders in STEEM through office visits, job-shadowing and mentorship opportunities in order to gain an understanding about career opportunities in Canadian knowledge-based industries. Through this experiential learning and mentorship program, students are inspired to pursue post-secondary education and career in STEEM.

fem-stem panel

Robotics sponsorship

Enabling Canada’s next generation leaders in technology, by sponsoring the FIRST High School Robotics competition.

inspireher Scholarship & Fellowship

Our scholarship aims to empower women and minority students in pursuing post-secondary education and career in STEEM. Our scholarship recipients are female and minority high school students who are entering post-secondary studies in STEEM from Canadian high schools. They also become a part of our Fellowship that connect them with STEEM-industry leaders and help their career development. If you’d like to learn more about the scholarship, email info@quantiusfoundation.com

Economic Impact Study

In partnership with Western University, the Foundation is launching a longitudinal impact study focusing on quantifying the long-term economic impact of diversity programs and best-practices in knowledge-based sector, including research on the economic impact of technology and how it affects on the gender wage gap, career progression, as well as skills requirement and qualifications for the next generation’s knowledge-based workforce.
